R. Corporation is pleased to welcome Jodhi Meares to the design team for Clara South Yarra in the role of "Lifestyle Collaborator".

A well known designer, business woman and presenter, it is Jodhi's affinity with nature and her ability to transform a home into a sanctuary that made her a perfect fit for Clara.

Jodhi's role as Lifestyle Collaborator is to help inspire homeowners on how to personlise their own living space.

Jodhi used a step by step process to create her version of the Clara living experience.

Step 1: Dream a little

Great creative design comes about through daydreaming. Take some time for yourself and let your thoughts wander, meander, and soar. Then slowly reel them back, gather them up and jot down what they have to say. Make sketches, mock up "mood" boards, leaf through design magazines, take photos of things that inspire you, travel and take notes, get a feel for the direction you want to head in.

Step 2: Analyse and individualise

What is right for you won't necessarily be right for the next person - that's how you create your own individual look. Surround yourself with your favourite things. Celebrate everything that is most sentimental about you. Your home should be a comfort to you at the end of each day. Make it that way by decorating it with favourites, not fads.

Step 3: Reap the rewards

This is the easy part. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the new lifestyle you have created in Clara South Yarra. Throw open the windows and immerse yourself in the sensory pleasures of the park. Stroll down to pick up the perfect shoes from the boutique around the corner. Savour the fresh produce you've brought home from the foodstores around the corner. Entertain at home.
